The Catich Gallery—contemporary, thought-provoking, professional--supports the university as a liberal arts institution by enabling students and the community to develop artistically, intellectually, spiritually, and socially. The gallery advocates diversity, life long learning, an open discourse about visual language, and explication of the context and message of various forms of art.
The Catich Gallery will be the premier art gallery in the Mississippi Valley featuring thought-provoking, museum quality contemporary work and engaging professional artists that complement university curricula. The gallery is committed to programming for the art department (its students, faculty, and curriculum), the campus community, the local community, our alumni, and art supporters throughout the region.
