The St. Ambrose University Fishing Club was founded in January of 2006 by Tony DeVolder.  It is a Club in which St. Ambrose students, faculty and staff can get together and share their love of America’s GREATEST sport, FISHING!   It doesn’t matter if you fish for catfish or bass all are welcome.  It doesn’t matter if your idea of a great day on the water involves a bobber and a chain pole, or if you are more interested in the competitiveness of tournament fishing.  That’s the great thing about the sport of fishing and this club, it surpasses all barriers.  The purpose of this club is to increase knowledge and awareness of fishing, and to generally have a good time in God’s creation, the outdoors.
