i)        Summary of Proposed Changes:

(1)   Exit/candidacy requirement:

(a)    Complete either MOL 719. Research Methods and MOL 720. Thesis or MOL 722

(b)   Capstone/CompsRemove MOL 722. Practicum.

(2)   Total credits / core credits / elective credit hours:

(a)    36 total credit hours for the capstone/comps option; 36 hours for the thesis option.

(b)   Increase core requirements from 15 to 18 credits.

(c)    Decrease electives from 12 to 9 credits for the thesis option.

(d)   Remaining credits fulfilled by completing LTPS, and either the thesis or comps option.

(e)    Increase total degree requirements by 3, from 33 to 36 credits.

(3)   New Courses to be added to the MOL curriculum:

(a)    MOL 621. Organizational Theory & Behavior.

(b)   MOL 719. Research Methods.

(c)    MOL 722. Capstone/Comps.

(4)   Courses to be dropped from the MOL curriculum:

(a)    MOL 710, 715, 717, 719 (Logistics courses. If these courses are needed they will be offered under MOL 792: Special Topics.)

(5)   Curse # changes for the purposes of cross listing with MBA:

(6)   Changes in Courses listed in Core Requirements:

(a)    MOL 512 or MOL 555. (old requirement: MOL 512 or MOL 515)

(b)   Add  MOL 621.

(a)    Move MOL 515 from core to electives.

(9)   Update and Clarification of Catalog Description of the MOL:

(a)    Policies and procedures approved four years ago have not been placed in the catalog. Further, three years of implementation necessitates clarification of previously approved policies and procedures.  These points of clarification and expanded catalog descriptions are provided to EPC for your information.

(b)   Proposed changes to the MOL are also included as part of the catalog update
