Item 1 - Approval of
Minutes:
- A motion to approve the minutes
for September 12, 2006 was made by R. Gwin
- Seconded by K. Manning.
- Minutes approved.
Item 2 Physical Therapy Department - Five Year Review
- A motion to accept requested
change was made by K. Manning.
- Seconded by P. Connelly.
- Discussion was held. No changes were requested. The orthopaedic physical therapy
clinical residency program did require course title changes as listed
below:
- DPT 981 Clinical Residency
Internship I to DPT 981 Clinical Residency Block I
- DPT 982 Clinical Residency
Internship I to DPT 981 Clinical Residency Block II
- DPT 983 Clinical Residency
Internship I to DPT 983 Clinical Residency Block III
- DPT 984 Clinical Residency
Internship I to DPT 984 Clinical Residency Block IV
- Motion carried with distinction
Item 3 Program Updates from Department of Languages and
International Studies
- A motion to affirm updates was
made by P. Connelly.
- Seconded by A. Pillutla.
- Discussion was held regarding
updates:
- Study Abroad requirement to be
added for all languages French, German, and Spanish
- Capstone Course Description
added to French and German curriculum
- Motion carried
Item 4 Proposed changes in Mathematics Department
- A motion to accept requested
change was made by P. Connelly.
- Seconded by A. Pillutla.
- New courses to be approved:
- Math 091: Fundamentals of Math Workshop, 1 credit
(pass/fail)
- Math 096: Intermediate Algebra Workshop, 1 credit
(pass/fail)
- Math 101: Orientation to College Mathematics, 1
credit (pass/fail)
- Discussion was held regarding
the need for these courses.
- Motion carried
Next meeting 11/14/06 3:15pm
The agenda
will include the 5-year review for ACCEL, 5-year review for Master of Pastoral
Studies, and General Education report.
