U.S. Bachelor Degree Opportunity for Graduates of Three-Year Bachelor Programs

At St. Ambrose University , we recognize that educational systems differ throughout the world. We are pleased to offer a new program of special interest to students holding three-year international bachelor degrees who wish to earn a United States bachelor degree. These students might be permanent residents of the United States and/or international students wishing to come to the U.S. to study.

Completion Program

The purpose of the completion program is to assist qualifying students with three-year bachelor degrees (i.e. Bachelor of Commerce) from India or other British system equivalent programs to earn a U.S. bachelor degree. St. Ambrose University will grant 90 transfer credits for work done while successfully completing a three-year international bachelor degree if either WES or ECE credential evaluators would consider the degree to be equivalent to 90 semester credit hours. In these cases, three-year international bachelor degree holders may then be able to complete a St. Ambrose University Bachelor of Elected Studies degree within one and a half to two years of full time academic work (approximately 30-45 credit hours). The number of actual credits required to complete the program will be determined on an individual student basis. A minimum of 30 credit hours must be completed through St. Ambrose University .

The Bachelor of Elected Studies Degree is a St. Ambrose University degree that would qualify students for most master’s degree programs. Students desiring to be considered for this program would need to apply to the university and enroll in the SAU Bachelor of Elected Studies degree program by calling the International Student Services at 1-563-333-6309 .
