Financial Aid for International Students
Undergraduate international
students qualify for the same academic scholarships as domestic students.
These scholarships are based upon the student's academic marks prior to
coming to the university, an ACT or SAT score as well as a TOEFL score (or
other test of English ability score). These scholarships can be found on
the Financial
Aid page .
For international students who
do not take the SAT or ACT, academic scholarships may reach as high as
$8,500 per year if the student lives on campus and $5,500 per year for off
campus students depending upon their cumulative marks and TOEFL score.
Beyond this there is also a possibility for undergraduates to obtain
sports and/or fine arts scholarships which are determined individually by
the various departments on campus.
Graduate students do not
qualify for scholarships but might be able to obtain a Graduate or
Research Assistantship on campus. These are highly competitive and can be
applied for through your program of study.
All international students
here on an F1 visa qualify for 20 hours of work on campus. These are
competitive and we will be happy to assist you in attempting to secure one
of these positions after you arrive if you are interested.
Annual tuition for our institution is approximately $28,000 which includes
tuition, room and board, books and supplies, insurance, personal expenses,
and transportation inside the U.S.
