Senior forward Mike Kennedy capped his fabulous career by becoming the first two-time Men's Basketball First Team All-American in St. Ambrose history when the NAIA released the Division II All-America teams. MORE>>

SAU sweeps MCC's men's basketball awards
After romping through the regular season and conference tournament, #15 St. Ambrose cleaned up when the Midwest Collegiate Conference announced its 2011-12 men's basketball awards. The 25-8 Bees earned the league's Player of the Year (Mike Kennedy), Newcomer of the Year (Nicholas Frazier) and Coach of the Year (Ray Shovlain) awards, and Chris Donnelly joined Kennedy and Frazier on the 10-man all-conference team. Bees add tournament title to regular season crown
After winning the regular season title by four games, it was only fitting that St. Ambrose close out the Midwest Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Tournament with a dominating performance.
