First Year Student Orientation 2008
We're glad you're going to begin your studies at St. Ambrose when fall classes start on Aug. 25. In order to make your transition to college a smooth one, orientation is mandatory for students and parents are encouraged to attend.
• Thursday–Friday, June 19-20
Orientation starts about 6:30 p.m. the first day, so plan to eat before arriving. Orientation will conclude by 3 p.m. of the second day.
Registering for Orientation
You need to make a tuition deposit prior to orientation. If you haven't yet done so, send a $100 deposit check to the Student Accounts Office, 518 W. Locust St. Davenport, IA 52803. Write the student’s name on the memo line of the check.

Overnight at Orientation
Students should bring personal belongings for an overnight stay on campus—linens are provided. Parents and guests can find helpful information about getting to and around campus, local hotel accommodations and more on the About SAU page, or use the links in the left-hand navigation column of this page to jump directly to specific topics.
