GROUP PROJECT 1

                                                                AD CAMPAIGN

Worth 50 points

In this project, your group must develop an ad campaign that will inform the public about a particular health issue, encourage prevention of a specific disease state, or discuss the risks and benefits of such preventative measures.   This project is intended for those who like to explore their creative side.   Because this project can be artistic in nature, it is understandable if the visual aid is the primary focus.  However, I do expect sufficient background information along with current relevant statistics associated with your project.  In other words, I don’t want a lot of glitz without meaningful information.  Your group needs at least three sources of information; one of which may be your textbook.  These sources should be cited at the bottom of the detailed outline that is due on the day of your presentation.  The presentation should be 15-20 minutes in length.  Ideas for topics and tentative dates for the presentations are listed below.  If you have an idea for an ad campaign that is not listed, please bring this to my attention.
