Worth 50 points

For this project, your group will give a 15-20 minute presentation on a particular disease state.  Your group is expected to have at least three sources of information.  These sources should be cited at the bottom of a detailed outline that must be turned in on the day of the presentation.  You should have at least one visual aid–you may use Powerpoint, transparencies, or posters.  You must thoroughly describe the cause, characteristics, transmission, and treatment of a particular disease state.  You should also include background information regarding the affected system.  For example, if you are discussing a bone disorder you should describe the function and general characteristics of bone.  Topic ideas and tentative dates for the presentation are listed below.
