GROUP PROJECT

You will work with your assigned laboratory partners on a group project. The group project is worth 50 points and will involve a 15-20 minute presentation. In addition to the presentation, each group must turn in a detailed outline of the project that contains citations for all of the sources that were used. You must have at least three sources, one of which may be your textbook. I will assume that each member of the group participated equally in the project unless I am informed otherwise. Each group may choose from three different types of projects. The first project requires you to develop an ad campaign that emphasizes prevention of a particular disease state or discusses the risks and benefits of such preventive measures. The second project involves a debate in which two people take opposite sides of an issue and the third person acts as a mediator. Lastly, the third project involves exploration of a disease state that was not discussed in class. The instructions and topics for each project are listed on a separate handout.
