Ring a bell for the Salvation Army

Jenn Flattery is asking for participants for the Salvation Army bell ring during November. She is looking for people who are interested in willing to ring bells in front of local businesses (Hy-Vees, Northpark Mall, Hobby Lobby, and Fareway) to attract people to donate money for local needed families. Dates and times for volunteering can be found by clicking here! The townhouse with the most volunteers will receive a party with the provided food of their choice. Help out and sign up!!!

Deck the Townhouses Contest

The townhouse with the best decked out place for the holidays, judged by Jenn and Brittany (your RAs), will receive a prize! Detailed information for the contest will be updated and advertised to everyone.

Door Dec Contest

We're Goin' Green this semester! Create and decorate your own Door Dec using recycled material. The door dec must include the names of all residents in your townhouse and an interesting fact about recycling. The judging will take place on Monday, November 17 at 11am. Good Luck!

A note from the Townhouses staff:
It's Turkey Time!!! First off, We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving break. We hope everyone has a wonderful time as a break from school. I'm hoping everyone is doing well and prepared for the last few weeks of school and final exams coming up.

The halls are closing Friday, December 12 at 7pm and do not re-open until 12pm, January 12. The housing contract that you have DOES NOT include housing or meals. Therefore, students that a legit reason to needing to stay (Winterim classes, work, varsity atheltics, etc) over Winter Break must submit a request form to the Residence Life Office. The request form will be forwarded to all the students via email. There is a weekly rate of $30.00 for housing during break for all students not "required" to be here by the university (those enrolled in SAU classes, athletes, and student workers will be exempted from charges). The total cost for the entire break stay is $120.00.

If anyone is interested in staying on campus over Winter Break please send in a request form by 4pm Monday, December 1st. If you have any questions please call or stop by Residence Life/ Dean of Students Office. The phone number is 333-6258.
