Wine Festival 2008

Welcome!

The St. Ambrose University Wine Festival is a community-driven volunteer event that brings dollars and awareness to the needs of future, current, and past students.

The Wine Festival is a combination of three events that focus on wine, food, and raising money for student scholarships. Having raised nearly $250,000 in the past six years, the committee is hoping the seventh year will bring us close to $300,000.

Each event has a charm of its own.

Wine at the Warehouse, a tasting with Dimitri and Kathy Papgeorgiou, is a casual event where you can try some of the wines that will be poured at the Wine Festival in May.

The Preview Dinner is the formal highlight of the Wine Festival season which pairs unique food with wine and showcases a winemaker from California to take us through each course.

The soothing sounds of music filtering through the canopy of oak trees on the SAU campus is the backdrop of our signature event, the Wine Festival, held in May. Mingle with guests as you taste more than 140 wines, sample gourmet food from local restaurants and bid on silent auction items—all are good motivation to raise money for SAU students.
