Admission Requirements
Individuals with a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited
institution may apply to the St. Ambrose University MAcc Program. Those
with undergraduate accounting degrees have fulfilled all prerequisites.
Those with other undergraduate degrees must fulfill prerequisite
requirements. Students are admitted in the fall, spring and summer
sessions.
Application Procedure
All students must provide the following:
- Submit an application for
admission to the College of
Business Graduate Office, St. Ambrose University, 518 W. Locust St.,
Davenport, IA 52803. with a $25
application fee.
- All official undergraduate and
graduate transcripts. These must be sent directly to the College of
Business.
- Official Graduate Management
Admissions Test (GMAT) score, if completed. Students are not required
to take the GMAT before entering the program, although students will
not be allowed to register for more than three courses or for a second
semester until the
official GMAT score is received. Prior to taking the GMAT, students
are accepted on a provisional basis.

Financial Assistance
A limited number of graduate assistantships and fellowships are
available. Scholarships from the George J. Till Accounting Scholarship
Fund for full-time Master of Accounting students with a GPA of 3.5 or
higher are also available. Check with
the program director for details. In addition, the financial aid office
provides information on loans for graduate studies.
