Mission of the Department of Student
Activities:
Through
individual and collaborative efforts, the Department of
Student Activities is dedicated to the appreciation and
understanding of community through social, cultural,
leadership development, and co-curricular opportunities that enrich the lives of students.
The
St. Ambrose experience encompasses much more than the
classroom--it means staying up late night after night to
plan an event, helping new students adjust to college,
giving up free time to participate in community service, or
being a mentor. Whatever passion you have, the possibilities that student activities offer are endless.
The
Department of
Student Activities supports the educational goals and mission of the university
by promoting a sense of self-worth and self-confidence
through campus involvement. Activities improve the quality
of campus life while offering student leadership
