The Student Activities Department works in conjunction with various organizations and companies to provide St. Ambrose students, faculty and staff with out-of-classroom educational experiences.

LEADERSHIP LINKS

• National Association for Campus Activities  
  NACA is a member-based, not-for-profit association composed of colleges and universities, talent firms and artists/performers, student programmers and leaders, and professional campus activities staff. The Campus Activities Board attends both the regional and national conferences annually.
• Association of College Unions-International  
  The Association is a network of nearly 1,000 member institutions with a common goal is to help college unions and student activities improve their programs and services and to be effective contributors
  to individual growth and development.
• Leadershape, Inc.  
  The LeaderShape Institute is a six-day leadership development experience designed to help participants learn to "lead with integrity." The presidents of the Student Government Association and Campus Activities Board are sent to the institute each summer. 
• Alcohol 101  
  The Century Council promotes responsible decision-making regarding beverage alcohol and fights alcohol abuse, focusing on drunk driving and underage drinking problems. 
• Oshkosh Placement Exchange   
  The Oshkosh Placement Exchange (OPE) is held each spring in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It is a placement exchange where colleges and universities from across the country come to recruit and interview potential student affairs staff members, primarily entry level positions in residential life and student activities.
