QUESTIONS
1.) Why
did you choose St. Ambrose? I chose SAU because I
loved the campus and I wanted a chance to play on the men's
golf team.
2.) Were you
nervous about applying to college? How many colleges did you
apply to? No, not really. I applied to two others
schools, one of those being Harvard, but I did that just for
fun.
3.) What was
your biggest fear before you started college? Starting
all over. I had to make new friends, get used to a new
school and learn to fend for myself. I had not done any of
those things ever.
4.) Describe a
typical day in your life, pre-college: A typical
day would have me on the golf course for about eight hours,
then I would spend time working and hanging out with my
buddies.
5.) How did you
select SAU, and when did you decide? I selected SAU
because when I visited campus I felt like I was at home.
6.) Before
moving on-campus, had you ever shared a room with anyone
before? Never.
7.) One
essential for every room: An awesome roommate.
8.) Your Ambrose
experience in three words: All good times.
9.) Is your
roommate messy or a neat-freak? We are both in the
middle!
10.) What is the
funniest thing you've witnessed at Ambrose? Sliding my
buddy Mike down the stairs in Ambrose Hall while he was in
an empty Christmas tree box.
11.) How would
you describe yourself? I am pretty much laid back.
12.) During your
first year of college, who did you call/email the most? My
dad.
13.) Favorite
faculty/staff member? It's a split between Justin
Ball and Vicki Hruby.
14.) And if you
could hang out with them, what would you do? I
would hang out with Vicki because she could be my future
mother-in-law, so I have to get on her good side.
15.) Any
nicknames? No, thank god.
16.) Favorite
SAU class: Varsity Golf, PED 362 with Griebs.
17.) Favorite
book: "The Great Gatsby"
18.) What CD is
in your CD player right now? A mix of free download
music
19.) Favorite
movie: "Caddyshack"
20.) Advice to
freshmen: College is the last four years you have
before becoming an adult. Don't waste your time. Make tons
of friends, stay up late, and enjoy not having your parents
ask you 50 questions when you get home late at night. Four
years go by fast, make every one count.
