the St. Ambrose University Fall Sports Banquet, the university's Champions
of Character were honored. The Champions of Character Award is
presented to one representative from each sport who exemplifies the five aspects of
the NAIA’s Champions of Character initiative. Those are respect,
integrity, responsibility, servant leadership and sportsmanship. St.
Ambrose student-athletes are challenged to actively participate in and
experience a multitude of thought provoking community service activities
that will enable them to become positive role models for change on campus
and in the Quad City community.

student-athletes to the semester opening athletic department orientation.

Kabat, Dean of Students, talks about the various campus resources
available to students and reminds our athletes to use them. He
challenged the athletes to be responsible for their actions and respect
and be good to each other.
