Art Moore - Basketball, Baseball, Track

Inducted into Hall of Fame in 1990

Art Moore was a three-sport athlete for the Bees from 1936 to 1940. He was member of the basketball team from 1936 to 1940, the track team from 1936 to 1938, and the baseball team in 1940. During his basketball career, the team won two conference championships and reached the NAIA Tournament twice.

He served as basketball co-captain during his senior season and was also the team scoring leader. The highlight of his career came when the Bees beat Augustana by one point in 1940.

In addition to sports, Moore participated in many other campus activities. He was the Associate Editor and Sports Editor of the Ambrosian News as well as a member of the Ambrosian Quarterly, the yearbook staff, the French Club, the Social Science Club, the Ambrosian Players, and the Monogram Club.

Moore graduated in 1940.
