John Cahill - Basketball

Inducted into Hall of Fame in 1990

John Cahill was a basketball standout for the Bees under head coach Bob Duax from 1958-1962. During his time, the team had a combined record of 41-51.

Cahill was a member of the 1000 point club, the Letterman’s Club, and was named Athlete of the Year. In addition to athletics, Cahill was a member of the History Club.

Cahill says that St. Ambrose was the most enjoyable four years of his educational experience and everything about the university brings back fond memories.

Cahill graduated in 1962.
