Kris Tudeen McKissick - Volleyball

Inducted into Hall of Fame in 1992

Kris Tudeen McKissick was a two-sport athlete for the Bees from 1982-1986. She played basketball and volleyball.

She was a captain on the basketball team and a National Catholic Basketball Tournament First Team All American. She also made the District 15 team two years and was team MVP. During her time, the team had a combined record of 84-37 under head coaches Ken Buckles and Lisa Bluder.

Her volleyball accomplishments were even more impressive. She was a team captain and a four-year member of the District 15 team. She was also a three-time NAIA All American (Honorable mention her first year, 1st team her second, and 2nd team her third). When the Bees reached Nationals, she was named to the All Tournament Team.

In addition to her athletic accomplishments, McKissick was a standout in the classroom, earning Dean’s List recognition. She also was a member of the Education Club and the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society in Education. She says she doesn’t have one key memory but her time in school was a lot of fun and had so many wonderful people.
