Roesler Named MCC Player of the Week

Kyle Roesler's bat was hotter than a pistol last week for the SAU Fighting Bees, earning him the Midwest-Classic Conference Player of the Week, the first Player of Week award given to an SAU player this season.

Roesler helped lead SAU to a 4-2 record last week, which included taking three of four games from conference leader, William Penn. Roesler batted .500 for the week, going 10-for-20 at the plate with six doubles, five runs scored, and nine RBI. Roesler was key in SAU's come-from-behind victory in the last game against William Penn, recording the game tying hit and scoring the go-ahead run in SAU's  9-8 win over the Statesmen.
