4:18 p.m. Despite the 24-20 loss to No. 18 St. Xavier on Saturday, Brandon Adolphs came away with the Mid-States Football Association Midwest League Player of the Week crown. On the day Adolphs rushed for 163 net yards on 18 carries. This is the second time that Adolphs has received this honor as he was also given the award for his October 12th performance against St. Francis, Ill. In that game Adolphs rushed for 162 yards on ten carries, scoring two touchdowns, while also grabbing a John McDowell pass for 41 yards. McDowell also recieved the honor with his 18 completions on 31 attempts, 290 yards, three touchdown, two interception day against Tri-State back on September 21. Return to the Football Homepage |
