October 9,
2002 1:55 p.m. The NAIA polls came out again this week with no change for the St. Ambrose University Fighting Bees as they remained ranked No. 12 in the nation. The top 13 teams remained unchanged as well. Holding on to the top spot is Sioux Falls, S.D. as they remained unbeaten and received 15 of the 17 first place votes. The Fighting Bees (what some consider to be) rival McKendree is ranked fourth after they defeated defending national champion Georgetown, Ky. as well as Quincy, Ill., Tri-State, Ind. and Trinity International, Ill. These two teams will close out their season against each other at Brady Street Stadium on November 16. The only other Mid-States Football Association Mid-West division team that is ranked is St. Xavier, Ill. who is ranked 18th jumping two spots from last weeks rankings. The Fighting Bees will face off against St. Xavier on November 2 at Brady Street Stadium, scheduled for 1:00p.m.
