Three named First Team All-Conference; Shovlain named Co-Coach of the Year

Matt Fitzpatrick, Karl Petersen and Ryan Johnson were all named to the MCC All-Conference team this season. The three players have been instrumental in the Bees 28-4 record and first place conference finish

Fitzpatrick averaged 13.4 ppg and led the MCC in assists (6.56), free throw percentage (85.1%) and steals (2.06). Fitzpatrick achieved a career milestone by scoring his 1,000th point earlier this season. Petersen leads the Bees in scoring with 15.6 ppg and leads the MCC in rebounding (9.2), field goal percentage (57.9%) and blocks at 1.66 per game. Johnson is averaging 13.9 ppg and leads the MCC in 3-point percentage at 51.8%. Johnson is second in the MCC in field goal percentage at 54.5%.

Coach Ray Shovlain also received the honor of Co-Coach of the Year in the MCC. Shovlain has led the Bees to their most successful season in school history and has also achieved a career milestone with his 400th win.
