An amazing win moves Bees to Final Four

For the first time in school history, the St. Ambrose
Fighting Bees will take part in the Final Four after an 88-84 overtime win
over William Jewell.
The Bees jumped out to a an early 22-7 lead, but William
Jewell came back to tie the game at 31 to go into the half. The Bees got
down by seven, two different times in the second half, but overcame the
deficit to grab the lead. The Bees by three with :03.9 left and Ryan
Johnson shooting two free throws. Johnson hit the first and missed the
second. Clint Underwood came down and hit a half court shot to tie the
game at the buzzer to force overtime.
The Bees overcame the shot and pulled through. Matt
Fitzpatrick hit a clutch 3-pointer to give the Bees a 77-76 lead and they
never looked back. Fitzpatrick drilled five out of six free throws to seal
the win and send the Bees on to the Final Four on Monday night at 8:00.
