Bees pound Emmaus

CLINTON, IOWA- This game proved to be a mismatch from the opening tip-off, as the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees jumped all over Emmaus Bible College with a 101-46 win. 

St. Ambrose outscored Emmaus 63-19 in the first half, while holding Emmaus to 22% shooting from the field.

Thirteen Fighting Bees scored in the game, including five players reaching double figures. Brett Jacobs led all scorers with 13 points and Karl Petersen added 11. Reggie Zorg, Nick Ferreira and David Burke scored 10 points each. Burke had a career game, as he also added 11 rebounds to lead the team. St. Ambrose outrebounded Emmaus 51-32 and caused 31 turnovers to improve to 6-1 on the season.
