Bees
Too Much For Vikings DAVENPORT, IA- The Fighting Bees used their aggressiveness and rebounding Wednesday night to defeat Grand View 83-73. St. Ambrose (12-10, 4-1) hit the boards twice as hard, as they nearly doubled the Vikings (8-11, 1-4) in rebounding, 41-23. Ryan Johnson led the Bees in scoring with 20 points, including three 3-pointers, while pulling down eight rebounds. Chris Washington played a very efficient game, scoring 16, while dishing out nine assists, and only turned the ball over three times. Ricky Mojek had one of his better games of the year for the Bees after not playing much the past few games. Mojek scored 14 off the bench, while also stealing the ball three times. SAU's bench outscored Grand View's bench 24-9. Grand View was led by the MCC's leading scorer Nate Tigges, who scored a game high 26 points, which is two more than his average. Todd Lorensen chipped in with 16 points and four assists, while Travis Larson scored ten for the Vikings. SAU will remain home on Saturday, when they'll square off against Mount Mercy.
