The St. Ambrose track program and head coach Brianne Appel are proud to announce the signing of track star Daniel Hall from Moline High School. Hall will join a young team that has just two seniors on this year's team.

Hall was named all-conference in the 100, running a time of 10.9 seconds, as well as the 4x100, and 4x400 in 2005. That same year, he was a member of the conference champions in the 4x200 relay with a time of 1:29.95, which was good enough to qualify the team for state. Also in 2005, Hall was named the Moline boys track athlete of the year, as well as being named to the Western Big Six All-Metro Team.

Hall has advanced to the sectional finals in the 100 meter in each of the past three years.  He runs a time of 22.91 in the 200 meters and a time of 51.14 in the 400 meters.

"Daniel will bring his outstanding sprinting ability to the team next season. We are proud he chose St. Ambrose to further his education and athletic career and we're looking forward to Daniel's next four years in which he will be an asset to the program," head coach Brianne Appel said.
