Ross Parker joins the St. Ambrose Track & Field coaching staff as well as the Football staff.  Parker graduated from Simpson College in his hometown of Indianola, Iowa, where he received his degree in sociology.

Parker participated in track and field at Simpson. Parker was selected to the All-American team in the shot put and was a combined six-time all-conference selection in the shot, disc and weight throw. Parker holds the school record for indoor and outdoor shot, as well as weight throw. He ranks second all-time in the discus.
