Brianne Appel is in her second year as track and field coach at St. Ambrose. She served as an assistant during the 2004-05 season. Appel graduated from NCAA Division II Lewis University in Romeoville, IL in 2004 with a B.A. in Sport Management and a minor in facility management and coaching. Appel was a member of Lewis' track and field team for four years, where she mainly competed in jumping and sprinting events, while training in the heptathlon. Coach Appel is originally from Mt. Morris, IL and attended Oregon High School in Oregon, IL. While at Oregon HS, Appel was a four sport athlete, participating in volleyball, basketball, track, and cross country. Appel won seven IHSA state track medals in track while in high school. She graduated with her MBA in the summer of 2006 at St. Ambrose University. To contact Coach Appel, email AppelBrianneE@sau.edu.
