Win Streak Stopped at Four
The St. Ambrose Queen Bees (12-11, 2-1)
four game win streak came to an end on Saturday, as they lost to the
visiting Grand View College Vikings (14-7, 3-0) by a final score of 83-69.
Despite Angie Schinstock scoring her
11th double-double of the season (26 points, 13 rebounds) and at one point
a ten point lead, the Queen Bees could not overcome a hot shooting Grand
View team.

was Kellie Metz, who added 18 points and five rebounds. Maggie
Hughes had another successful game at the point guard position, dishing
out four assists.
The Queen Bees could not overcome their
16.7% three point shooting on the day where it seemed as if they couldn't
buy a bucket.
For the Vikings, five scored in double
figures on the day. Jessica Matson led the team with 18 points,
while grabbing 12 rebounds and blocking three Queen Bees
shots.
Tiffany Christensen added 17 points and
