DAVENPORT, IOWA- The Queen Bees hosted Viterbo in the first MCC game of the year. Viterbo jumped out to a 16-4 lead with 10:20 remaining in the first half. St. Ambrose fought back to cut the lead to three, but Viterbo upped the lead to six with a 33-27 halftime lead.

The Queen Bees played an entirely different game in the second half, as they scored the first six points of the second half and eventually took the lead. St. Ambrose extended their lead to seven following a Cathy Mangan jumnper with 9:31 left. Viterbo couldn’t get any closer than four points, but St. Ambrose closed the game out with a 23-15 run to grab a 78-66 victory.

Angie Schinstock led the Queen Bees with 29 points and 10 rebounds. Kellie Metz added 15 and Mangan scored 10 points to go along with six assists and five rebounds. Lindsey Klatt led Viterbo with 16 and Anne Wilson added 15.
