Turnovers cost Queen Bees CLINTON, IOWA- The No. 12 St. Ambrose Queen Bees turned the ball over 27 times compared to Cardinal Stritch's 10, as they were defeated 74-62. This caused the Queen Bees 35 less shot attempts from the field. St. Ambrose played a good all-around first half, taking a 32-30 lead at the break. The Queen Bees shot 52% from the field and held Stritch to only 30%. The second half was a different story, as Stritch hit 17 of 34 of their shots including 5 of 11 from behind the arc. The Queen Bees hit 42% of their shots in the second half, but only took 19 shots in the defeat. Angie Schinstock recorded another double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. St. Ambrose outrebounded Stritch 35 to 33 and shot 47.6% for the game.
