SAU Loses At Grand View

Box Score  2/9/05

DAVENPORT, IA- Grand View's Jesi Barrett spread the ball around to her teammates Wednesday night, recording 14 assists, to help the Lady Vikings beat the Queen Bees 81-66.  GVC (13-16, 6-5) shot an amazing 63% in the second half to hold off a late surge by St. Ambrose (15-14, 5-6).

 

SAU was led once again by Jennifer Goetz, who scored 19 points on 9 for 15 shooting.  She also added eight rebounds and three steals.  Ali Rorah came off the bench to score twelve points and grab five boards.  SAU was out rebounded 44-27.  The Queen Bees made just three of their 21 three point attempts.

 

Grand View had four girls score in double figures.  Amanda Kramer had a game high 24 points, while also grabbing six rebounds.  Amber Johnson and Ashley Brown each added 14 points for the Vikings, while Cody Schechinger had eleven to go along with five rebounds, six assists, and four steals.  Barrett chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds, as well as her game high 14 assists.

 

St. Ambrose continues on the road on Saturday, when they'll travel to Forest City to play Waldorf.  That game will begin at 1:00.
