Bad weather, bad soccer leads to Bees lossCHICAGO -- The Bees traveled to Judson to play one of the toughest teams in the region.“We knew that Judson is a team on the rise and they proved to be a very tough opponent across the field,” head coach Jon Mannall said. The Eagles took the early edge in the game and dictated play, getting some early scoring opportunities. The Bees had a tough afternoon getting in behind the home team and where limited to a disappointing 4 shots to the home teams 23. The game ended early due to bad weather, but the result was in little doubt. “We had a lot of problems doing the simple things in this one," Mannall said. "They dictated themselves on the game and it was tough for us to fight back.” The Bees next contest will be against cross-town rival Augustana. |
