Allison begins her second year at St. Ambrose for the 2005 season. However, she's not new to the area. She attended Davenport North High School, where she played a major role on the State Championship team during her Senior season. That year, she was named first team all-state, as well as being a part of the Senior all-star team.
Before coming home to Davenport, Allison played four years at Elmhurst College, near Chicago. After her playing days were over, she remained with Elmhurst as an assistant coach for two seasons.
Now that she is back in the Quad Cities, she says she is more comfortable because she feels at home here. She likes the smaller city, and the fact that she doesn't have to worry about traffic as much as she did the last several years.
