B.J. comes to Saint Ambrose from the Chicago suburb of Tinley Park, IL where he received all state-honorable mention during his Senior season at Lincoln-Way High School. He enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Bees.
After High School, BJ attended Lindenwood college, an NAIA school in St. Charles, MO. He spent two years there, then transferred to SAU in 2001. BJ received the newcomer of the year award as a Junior at Saint Ambrose. Then was 1st team all-conference during his Senior year.
BJ likes Saint Ambrose for its small campus and because it's easy to get to know people in such a small setting.
