John Salsgiver enters his fifth year at St. Ambrose. He played on the Saint Ambrose men's team from 2001-2004. He was 2nd team all-conference during his Senior season at SAU. John joins the men's coaching staff this spring afer three years as an assistant with the women's team.
John hails from St. Louis where he attended Parkway South High School. His parents and brother still reside in the St. Louis area. He says he likes St. Ambrose for the small town atmosphere, and because it's a smaller school.
