Lohman Arena Schedules and Facility GuidelinesLee
Lohman Arena is available for use by all St. Ambrose
University students and faculty/staff, and by Ambrose Club
and fitness members.
Use
of the pool in lower LeClaire Hall, the weight room,
basketball court, cardiovascular room (please limit time on
machine to 30 min.), the two racquetball courts (first come
first serve), and the track are available to all members,
but do not take precedence over classes.
The
track is closed 30 minutes before any home athletic contest.
All time and availability is subject to change depending on
class and practice schedules as well as intramurals.
Pool
hours will change each semester due to lifeguard class
schedules.
Please
have proper I.D. ready when you come to the Lee Lohman, and
please follow the guidelines listed on the website (www.sau.edu/athletics/hoursguidelines.htm).
For locker room availability, please contact the main
athletic office or Tony Huntley at 333-6229. Please check
the website for availability.
During
the school year when classes are in session, the Hours
for Lee Lohman Arena are Monday through Thursday: 6 am -
11 pm; Friday: 6 am - 8 pm; Saturday: 8 am - 4 pm; Sunday:
noon - 11 pm.
Spring 2007 Pool Hours:
(Closed during spring break and finals week)
Monday and
Wednesday 11 - 5 pm, Tuesday and Thursday noon - 1:30 pm,
and Friday 10 am - noon.

Lee Lohman Arena - Fall 2006 Renovations
During the summer and
into the fall 2006 semester, there will be several changes
to Lee Lohman Arena. The changes will be ongoing throughout
the 2006 fall semester. Please use caution and thank you
for your understanding of this work in progress.
Here are the
following improvements to Lee Lohman Arena.
Gym Floor refinished
complete.
Locker Rooms (Mens and
Womens) refinished complete.
New wooden
lockers, fresh paint, carpet, fans and stools
Batting Cage being
relocated complete.
Painting of class rooms
complete.
Cardiovascular equipment
maintenance complete.
New cardiovascular
equipment Completed.
Treadmill
and bikes
Workout mats
New weight equipment
Half completed.
Power racks
- ordered
Lower weight
dumb bells
New plates
of various sizes
Rack
platforms and bars -
Fans to
circulate the air
Weight room to be
painted completed.
Recovering of benches
and equipment completed.
