ACE 102, The Art of Nature: Design and Function, is a learning community in which students are enrolled
in both Art 100, Introduction to Drawing, and Biol 104C, General Biology II laboratory section C. Students
are able to explore the languages of both biology and art. Artistic observation skills are combined with
scientific analysis to reveal facets of the natural world. Through this learning community, students are
