Promotion Tips for Employers

Our goal is to help you reach as many students/alumni as possible during the Career Fair. Here are some tips to increase student participation with your organization:

• Purchase an ad in the student newspapers and receive a 20% discount. To place an ad in The Buzz, St. Ambrose's newspaper, contact ad manager Dustin Renwick, 563-333-6443. The Buzz has a rate sheet online. Augustana's student newspaper, The Observer, has special rates for the career fair. Contact The Observer for more information.
• Send your business video to the Career Centers. Contact Angela Grafton or Jana Klauke if you are interested.
• Send postcards with current opening information inviting students to visit your booth (approximnately 2000 postcards per school).
• Provide items such as T-shirts, bags, caps, etc., for student raffle. Call Kim Matteson at 563-333-6342 to have items picked up.
