Discover
the elements. From astronomy to zoology, chemistry is
the key to all sciences that deal with the structure and
behavior of objects and matter. Chemistry
students are broadly educated in chemistry, physics and
mathematics while developing an excellent foundation in
chemistry.
Students
conduct experiments with professors and may have the
opportunity to assist their professors in research. They may
also participate in internships provided by local
industries.
Our
graduates have nearly 100% placement in chemical
professions. Upon graduation, some chemistry majors are
employed as industrial chemists, criminalists or high school teachers,
while others continue into graduate work in chemistry,
environmental or forensic studies, medical schools or pharmacy school.
