  For instructors:    

Creating a Test

  1. In the Assessment section of the Control Panel, click Test Manager.
  2. Click the Add Test button.
  3. Enter a name for the test in the Name box.
  4. Enter description and instructions in the Test Information section.
  5. Click the Submit button.
  6. Click the arrow on the Add box and select a question type from the resulting menu.
  7. Click the Go button.

  1. Enter text for the question in the Question Text box.
  2. Enter a value for the question in the Point Value box.
  3. Enter or select other options.
  4. Click the Next button, if applicable, and click the Submit button.
  5. Click Add Question Here and repeat steps 8-12 to continue adding questions to the test.
  6. When you are finished, click the OK button.

Note: The test will not be available to students until it is added to the content area.

Adding a Test to a Content Area

  1. Panel, select the content area you want to add the test to.
  2. Click the Test button.
  3. In the Select an existing test box, select the test you want to make available.
  4. Click the Submit button and click the OK button.
  5. Click Modify the test options.
  6. In the Test Availability section, select Yes next to Make the link available. (Select other test options, as desired.)
  7. Click the Submit button and click the OK button.
  8. Click the OK button.
