The
Center for Instructional Design and Technology (CIDT) supports the University community in the use of
information technology in teaching, learning and research. We
accomplish this by working one-on-one with faculty members to match needs
to resources, by hosting workshops, and by providing training where
appropriate. CIDT operates an open-computing lab and provides
telephone, email and walk-in assistance in lower Cosgrove.
The Center is a facility where
faculty can experiment with various instructional
technologies for academic purposes. The Center has 4
Windows-based workstations with various software, printers,
scanners and video equipment. It also has 1 Mac
workstation. Our multimedia lab is a place where faculty can
create their own materials such as video/audio capture,
edit, and conversion to a number of formats. We also offer
instruction and guidance in online teaching and learning in
the Center for Instructional Design. |
