Stephen K. Kruse 

Director of Finance and Accounting

for AG Tractor and Implement Division

Stephen K. Kruse is Director of Finance and Accounting for Deere’s world wide Agricultural Division. In this position, Steve is responsible for all financial activities in the division, including strategic business unit financial statements, cost tracking, and merger and acquisition analysis.

Mr. Kruse joined Deere & Company in 1972 after receiving a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in accountancy and passing the Illinois CPA exam.  He held numerous accounting positions at operating units and Corporate Headquarters, before becoming controller of Deere’s Davenport Works in 1983.  He was appointed Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis in 1994 and Director, Accounting Administration in 1995.  In 1997, Mr. Kruse was named Director, Finance, for Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, located in the European Office in Mannheim, Germany.   

Steve is married with 2 daughters and 1 grandson.
