John Stavnes

John started with Wells Fargo in 1981 and has served in Minneapolis, LaCrosse, Cedar Rapids and the Quad Cities. He holds a B.A. from Upper Iowa University.
John is responsible for the company’s banking and financial service operations in Eastern Iowa, including Quad Cities, Cedar Valley, Mason City, Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, along with the Western Illinois markets of Canton, Geneseo, Morrison, Galesburg and Monmouth. Overall, he has responsibility for leading 43 banking locations and over 500 Wells Fargo team members across his territory. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors for Wells Fargo in the Quad Cities.
John has been involved in community activities, including board memberships with United Way, Variety Club, Davenport One, Quad City Development Group, the Greater Davenport Redevelopment Corporation, the Bettendorf Chamber of Commerce, the Quad Cities Contributors Council, the Kirkwood Community College Foundation, The Scott Community College Foundation and the St. Ambrose University Business School Advisory Council.
He and his wife, Mary, are the parents of two daughters, Kelly and Jessica.
