St. Ambrose's Communication Department is one of the best when it comes to preparing students for a career in the field. For 30 years, the faculty have integrated a liberal arts education with practical, hands-on experience. Graduates are highly sought after because they have the skills to adapt to new technology and thrive in an ever changing profession.

While all professionals - whatever their field - need good communication skills, the Communication Department specifically prepares students for careers in electronic and print media; public relations and marketing communication; and in creative agencies. Within the department, students can choose from among four majors: radio and television, public relations and marketing communication, journalism, and media studies.
