Internships
 All communication majors are encouraged to get
job experience (and earn credit hours) working in real business
environments through
internships. Ambrose students have interned at virtually every television
and radio station and newspaper in the area, including the NBC, ABC and
CBS affiliates, the Quad-City Times, Moline Dispatch and Rock
Island Argus. PR and marketing majors have interned with successful
local companies
such as Bawden & Associates, The i wireless Center, the River Bandits, the Quad City Steamwheelers, Mid-American Energy and the Army Corps of Engineers. These
professional experiences have a direct influence on employment after
graduation, and help give St. Ambrose graduates an edge over
the competition.
