Market Value of a CJ Degree

The Master of Criminal Justice degree has great advantages. Many graduates have successfully used the degree as an entry-level credential to careers in middle-management. Graduates who were previously employed in criminal justice or related careers have found the MCJ to be a valuable tool for securing promotions and advancement. The MCJ degree is highly regarded as being a valuable asset indicative of professionalism and competence above and beyond the baccalaureate degree. Further, in some agencies, the MCJ degree is becoming the minimum requirement for employment.
